Cetrez Nitor Velox #30, BHK Motorsport #16 and Wave Freem eSports #51 will start from pole position respectively in DPi, LMP2 and LMGTE

Qualifying session for the 24 Hours of Le Mans is now officially over. 30 cars from the 3 different classes on track challenged each other in a 1-hour session to determine the starting grid for this week’s race.

Cetrez Nitor Velox takes pole in DPi

A stunning lap by Rory MacDuff gifted pole position to #30 Cetrez Nitor Velox in Le Mans. The time set by the American simdriver was a 3.17.396. Behind him, Naquib Azlan (#11 Flash Axle Sports) and Christian Malghera (#1 Wave Freem eSports) completed the top three. #26 and #12 will fight for podium spots during the 24 hours race, while #32, #7 and #9 will work hard during this week to bounce back. Slow laptime for the Carloni Racing #10. The Acura driven by Leonardo Ricotta hit trouble during the session, as some hardware problems forced the simdriver to stop its car earlier.

BHK Motorsport ahead of the two Wave Freem eSports entries

In LMP2 Luca D’Amelio has been the fastest Oreca on track with its #16. BHK Motorsport still has a shot to win the class title and will do anything to fight Wave Freem #47, starting from P3. In between the two title contenders there will be Wave Freem eSports Junior #17 in second place. Naja Racing Italia and ARMS SimRacing complete the top 5.

Wave Freem eSports wins a tight battle for pole

Andrea Riccelli topped the timesheet in LMGTE. Ferrari #51 was fastest around Le Mans with the 3.47.404 set by the young Wave Freem simdriver. Davide Arduini (#97 ELTA Customs) was close behind, finishing ahead of Mattia Crupi (#90 VeM). #51 and #97 are fighting for the class’ title, with ELTA Customs having a comfortable 21 points-lead heading towards the last 24 hours of racing. #94 Les Casse-Cou’s Aston Martin and the returning #74 Panica Gaming’s Porsche interrupt Ferrari’s dominance completing the top 5.
