Cars will hit the track for two hours in the preseason race

Engines roaring, traffic jams and the excitement of a multiclass event. All of this will be back in the upcoming weekend thanks to the 2 Hours of Indianapolis, preseason event scheduled for Saturday 2nd of October. This race does not award points but is a good chance for everyone involved to come to grips with their cars and opponents. There will not be a mandatory driver swap. Teams have freedom of choice between focussing on one car or splitting their entry in two in order to get more mileage and data.

With the DPi class removed from the grid, EES is down to two classes, LMP2 and LMGTE, but there will not be any shortage of drama. Prototypes will feature Wave Freem eSport #47. Season 3 winners have to try to defend their title with a refreshed lineup against the other 11 teams signed up. On the other hand, Season 4 will crown a new champion in LMGTE, as ELTA Customs did not return to the grid. This class will also feature a categorization (PRO and AM), to be defined in the next few weeks.

Being a preseason event, there will not be an official streaming on Pitlane TV for this week’s race. Instead, a written report will come out next week – make sure to not miss it!
