Are you ready to go West?

4 classes sharing the racetrack in 8 different locations for a total amount of 60 hours of racing. These are the main numbers of Season 4 of the eSport Endurance Series by e-Racing Series. Read through the article to discover more about the upcoming season of our endurance championship on rFactor 2.

Cars, Classes and Race Format

As we said earlier, 4 classes will be racing at the same time. DPi will feature only the official Cadillac DPi-V.R. by Studio 397. On the other hand, the LMP2 class will not be a monobrand anymore as the recently released Ligier JSP217 will join the beloved Oreca 07 for new battles on the race track. There will be a new entry in LMGTE as well, with the Corvette C8R ready to make its debut alongside Aston Martin Vantage, Ferrari 488, Corvette C7R, Porsche 911 and BMW M8.

Races will be held on Saturday afternoons. Format will have some changes compared to the first three seasons. Qualifying will be a shorter session, as the time for each class to qualify has been halved down to 10 minutes compared to the 20 minutes of Season 3. This format change requires more focus on the hotlap by the simdrivers and a better time and space on track management. Talking about race distance, for Season 4 the schedule features a 6-hours race 5 times, with the remaining 3 events being respectively the 8 Hours of COTA, the 10 hours of Road Atlanta and the 12 hours of Sebring.

Sign up fee and Prizes

For Season 4 sign up fee will be 10 € based on drivers and not on teams anymore. At the end of the sign up procedure we will calculate prizes for each class and give you more details on them. DPi, LMP2 and LMGTE all get the same prize. You can sign up your team now by replying at this topic.

Live streaming

All events will be streamed live on the YouTube channel Pitlane TV.
